Dutton Recruitment are seeking a Procurement Contract Specialist for work based in Oman.
Reporting to Commercial Manager, this role is responsible for design, development and implementation of overall Procurement and Contract Management Strategy of the Company. The job will focus on implementation of best practices in procurement and Contract management to derive best value for money and cost optimization for the Company, while efficiently and effectively meeting the long term / day to day purchase requirements of the business.
The position is based 12 km north of Sur City on the coast of the Gulf of Oman.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines. The role also required use of specialized software like accounting software, CMMS System, Crystal Reports and any other software used by the Company from time to time.
This is a full-time position. The employee needs to follow the normal working hours (40 hours / week) as per the Company Policy. This position sometimes requires long hours and occasional weekend work as job duties demand.
